ESL Classes

A description of each class is listed below:

Literacy Level:

This is a basic comprehensive course that teaches oral and written alphabet of Haitian Creole to students who are from Haiti and illiterate to the formation of words and sentences in Haitian Creole. Eventually, students transition to learning Basic English. This course is offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 AM to 12 PM.

Beginning Level:

This course is designed to help students build basic reading and writing in english Language, with a focus on listening and oral skills. It is offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 AM to 12 PM and from 6 PM to 9 PM.

This Course is for Low Income Family:

In this course, students begin to learn more specialized vocabulary and grammar as they progress from basic conversations to more advanced and varied dialogues, building listening and speaking skills along the way. It is offered on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9 AM to 12 PM.

Dialogs Groups:

These sessions offer actives dialogue that can help students develop active listening and oral skills. We are partnering with Boston Cares, a non-Profit Organization that provides volunteers opportunity to various organizations in the Community. Our actively engage Volunteers are students of all levels,  who practice their listening and speaking skills.
